Our modification process
Every modification is different, but the success pattern is the same: confirm what’s being changed, validate the contract can support it, build a clean package with clear justification, and stay on it until the contract and catalogs reflect the approval.
1. Confirm the goal and modification type
We start by aligning on what you’re trying to accomplish (additions, deletions, EPA, admin updates, solicitation refresh, etc.) and confirming the best mod path so we don’t “force” the wrong action type.
2. Check prerequisites and contract posture
We review contract status and any dependencies that could slow approval, such as outstanding mass mods, reporting requirements, catalog alignment, or other conditions that can trigger questions from the CO/CS.
3. Build the package with clear support
We assemble the required forms and narratives, and we include the supporting documentation needed to make the reviewer’s job easy. The goal is a package that answers questions before they get asked.
4. Submit and manage follow-ups
After submission, we track the action, respond to clarification requests, and keep the modification moving. (Because a mod left unattended has a rare ability to become a “long-term relationship.”)
5. Confirm updates flow through to public-facing catalogs where applicable
Once approved, we verify the changes show up where buyers look, such as GSA Advantage! and any price list/catalog outputs tied to the modification, so the approval translates into real-world usability.
Keep approved changes connected
Follow the contract update through catalog maintenance and ongoing support.

FAQs
-
How do I know which modification type I need?
Start by telling us what changed in your business: pricing, products or services, labor categories, company structure, points of contact, or anything tied to how you sell and deliver. We translate that change into the correct GSA modification type and outline exactly what documentation and pricing support is required. That way you do not waste time building the wrong package or submitting a mod that triggers preventable questions.
-
Can you fix access and admin issues first?
Yes. In many cases, access, roles, or administrative setup problems are the real reason a modification stalls or cannot be submitted cleanly. We can help resolve those prerequisites first so the modification process runs smoothly and the contracting office can focus on the actual request instead of administrative clean-up. Think of it as clearing the runway before you try to take off.
-
Do you handle one-off modifications?
Yes. We can support a single modification from start to finish, including package assembly, submission, and follow-up through approval. If you expect frequent changes, ongoing support can be more efficient because we maintain continuity, templates, and contract context, which reduces back-and-forth and shortens turnaround time. Either way, the goal is the same: clean submissions and faster approvals.
