# After a GSA contract award, am I guaranteed to win contracts?

A GSA contract award is a license to hunt.  Federal contracting and doing business with the Federal government is far easier if you have a GSA schedule contract.  It enables you to avoid searching for RFP's through FedBizOpps and take your products directly to the federal agencies

A GSA contract removes barriers to selling to federal agencies, but to achieve significant GSA sales, you must sell and market.

The minimum value of any GSA contract, however, is $2,500.
