ccr sam.govGSA Contractors are receiving notices about recent changes to their CCR record that necessitates a novation.  These messages are in error and are a system glitch that GSA is aware of, so you can ignore if you received such an email and have not actually made any changes.

The email is typically has a subject line along the lines of

An eMod is required to complete the CCR information update with GSA contract GS-XXX-XXXXX

the body of the email contains this text:

To Whom It May Concern:

GSA recently received an update from CCR in which the company name associated with DUNS # 809485295  was changed.  In order to apply this change to your GSA contract(s), the submission of a formal contract modification is required.

Please log into eMod (https://eoffer.gsa.gov) and initiate a "Change of Name" or "Novation"  modification, depending on the specifics of your situation.

If you hold multiple GSA contracts under DUNS 809485295, you will need to log into eMod under each contract, and submit the appropriate modification for each contract prior to the change taking effect.

Thank you.
